Jenn puts the compassion, kindness and work ethic she learned growing up in the Midwest to work for you.

Jenn was born and raised in the small farming community of St. Johns, Michigan. After law school, she craved a change and moved to Los Angeles, where she has lived and practiced law for the past twenty years but has never forgotten her midwestern roots.

Jenn knew from growing up with two brothers that life isn’t always fair: sometimes you get outnumbered, but that doesn’t mean you get out-smarted. It is with that mentality that she has made it her mission to be the most prepared person in any room – maximizing her ability to zealously represent her clients regardless of who she is up against.

For over twenty years, Jenn has worked tirelessly as a mass tort attorney, fighting pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing companies who failed to warn consumers of the dangers of their products. Her practice has focused largely on issues impacting women and children including SSRI withdrawal, babies who were born with birth defects after being exposed to medications during pregnancy and the vaginal mesh and talcum powder litigations. She has also focused on the area of mental health drugs and the many failures by the manufacturers of those drugs to properly warn doctors and their patients of the dangers associated with taking them. She has taken on large corporations like Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squibb and 3M – and she is not afraid of the fight.

She has also fought for her clients outside the courtroom by testifying before an FDA advisory board on the safety concerns regarding SSRI antidepressant medication and the unfairness of certain laws that isolate the manufacturers of those drugs from litigation.

Jenn is a nationally-recognized attorney with more than twenty years of experience in both federal and state litigation. Courts throughout the country have appointed Jenn to serve in leadership positions of Plaintiff Steering Committees in some of the largest pharmaceutical and device mass tort cases in the country. She won the accolades of the legal community and has been named as a “Super Lawyer” every year since 2009. Jenn has also won the title of Lawyer of Distinction and Top Lawyer in California. She uses her experience to advance younger lawyers by frequently teaching deposition techniques and other litigation skills for AAJ.

Jenn recently founded her own firm after years of working at several large national firms in both Los Angeles and New York City. She continues to focus her time on consulting in mass tort litigation and litigating personal injury cases on behalf of people and families harmed by the negligence of others. She has also dedicated a large part of her practice to representing victims of sexual harassment in the workplace and childhood sexual abuse against sexual predators and the institutions that protect them. Jenn currently represents many sexual abuse survivors against the Boy Scouts of America, the Catholic church, the Mormon church, and other institutions responsible for child sex abuse.

In her spare time, Jenn enjoys her life in the South Bay with her two teenage daughters and her Aussiedoodle, Mayzie.
